Vince and Zyana: Kids’ Adventure Reality Series Set to Launch Online This Year

The Challenge with Kids’ Edutainment During Lockdown
With schools closed and limited social contact for prolonged periods of time, many families were faced with the challenge of having to keep their kids happy, educated and entertained indoors. For many parents, one of the challenges became balancing their kids’ time spent behind a screen, along with maintaining a level of education at the same time. No one could predict how long the lockdown would last, however, many families used this period to spend more quality time together, which was perfect for getting to know each other better.
How Vince and Zyana Was Created
Currently based in Lagos, Nigeria, Kam Enenmoh discovered a passion for creating content about his (then 4-year-old) twins, Vincent and Zyana, as they went about their everyday lives and adventures. Kam spent much time paying attention to the kind of content his kids were consuming online and decided to start making videos within the social media sphere.
A majority of Kam’s professional experience was based on oil and gas trade, but when lockdown hit, business closed completely, and he found himself spending more time at home with his family. Kam never thought he would enter the lucrative world of social media, until witnessing the influence of online edutainment on his kids. With a Finance degree from Michigan State University and MBA from Texas Southern University, he began his journey into an entirely different industry with video creation.
Born to Filipino American mom and Nigerian dad, both Vincent and Zyana have rich, unique personalities, adding to the intriguing dynamic of each episode filmed. Whilst spending more time at home, the twins explored different forms of edutainment online, inspiring what has now become the reality series, entitled Vince and Zyana.
Most Vince and Zyana episodes are short in length, ranging from 2- to 6-minutes long, as compared to the typical 20-minute-long TV series. This makes them perfect for younger kids who may find it difficult to focus for long periods of time. Action-packed and filled with dynamic energy, the videos feature kid-friendly special effects, a green screen, and sound effects, combining technology with innovative storylines. Episodes also include basic educational knowledge on topics, including colours, the alphabet, animals, and different types of fruits.
The Cast of Vince and Zyana
Now 6-year-twins, Vincent and Zyana, feature as main characters in their self-titled show, both with their own quirks and diverse personalities. Natural-born leader and sports-loving Vincent is a huge basketball fan, and his all-time favourite player is Brooklyn Nets pro, Kevin Durant. He also enjoys singing. Artistic, witty Zyana enjoys analysing situations and events occurring around her, which leads to a host of hilarious reactions and facial expressions. Zyana loves dancing, arts and crafts, and pranking the whole family whilst at it. The twins’ nanny, Nimfa, also regularly features in the videos.
Kam’s wife, who is originally from San Diego, where the twins were born, has appeared a couple times on the show, but prefers to help out behind the scenes rather than being in front of the camera. They also have a baby boy, named Christian, who is currently 1-year-old.
Travel Diary: San Diego and Las Vegas
On their travels across the globe, Vince and Zyana follows the children as they visit different places and participate in new, kid-friendly activities. Join the family on their travels to San Diego, as they visit Sweetwater Bike Park; LegoLand; the Maritime Museum; USS Midway Museum; Carlsbad Pumpkin Patch; Grape Park; Birch Aquarium, and Santa Monica Pier. Then, travel to Vegas, where they visit M&M World and Hershey World, as well as a huge indoor playground that’s perfect for a kids’ day out.
The First Journey to Dubai
This past Christmas, the family travelled to Dubai for the very first time. Each and every day included a brand-new place to visit, or activity to enjoy for children. These include the Dubai Marina; the world’s largest mall; Lost Chambers Aquarium; Atlantic Aquaventure; LegoLand Water Park; Butterfly Garden; Dinosaur Park; a Desert Safari Cruise; 3D Museum; Indoor Skydiving at IFLY Dubai; Museum of Illusions; Glow Park; Jumeirah Beach; Ski Dubai and Miracle Garden. Episodes shot during the family’s travels tend to be unscripted and based on the kids’ day-to-day lives, as they discover new kinds of exciting entertainment, and learn about the world.
Episodes of Vince and Zyana in Lagos, Nigeria
Over 200 episodes of Vince and Zyana have been planned, scripted, and shot in Lagos, focusing on topics such as music, dance, adventures, sports, and hilarious pranks on Nimfa and the rest of the family. The twins also have a talent for singing and have recorded several songs in-studio. They’re also working on creating music videos to accompany their songs, which feature genres including pop, house, rock, amapiano and afrobeats. Viewers can explore new forms of entertainment and quality kids’ content, whilst learning about a diverse range of subjects.
Playing a Toothpaste Prank on Nimfa
The twins have a lightbulb moment one day and decide to play a prank on their unsuspecting nanny. They replace the icing on top of some cookies with a similar looking (but definitely not delicious) substance… Toothpaste! When Nimfa has her back turned, Vincent and Zyana scrape the icing off the cookies and instead, replace it with toothpaste. Hilariously, Nimfa takes a bite!
Episode: A Nightmare…
Anticipate action-packed storylines, such as the episode entitled, A Nightmare. Zyana drinks from a bottle of juice she discovered on the dining table and enjoys the taste so much that she decides to tell Vincent about it, so they can both share the delicious juice. It turns out the mystery drink turns her invincible and she develops special powers…
Upcoming Launch of Vince and Zyana
The exciting new kids’ reality adventure series is set for release this upcoming year, both locally and internationally. Episodes will be available on YouTube in the form of 2- to 6-minute-long videos, ideal for younger kids wanting to learn more about travelling the world, as well as exploring the everyday life of the twins.
